GreenRoots was born in 2012 when the Chen family decided to convert their 80-acre conventional farm to fully organic practices. After three years of soil regeneration and USDA certification, they began selling at their local farmers market.
Word spread fast. By 2016, demand had grown so much that they partnered with 12 neighbouring farms and launched online ordering. Today, GreenRoots works with 80+ farm partners and serves 30,000+ families across the Pacific Northwest — still committed to the same values that started it all.

We pay our farm partners 20% above market rate so they can focus on quality, not profit margins.
We offset 120% of our carbon emissions and plant 3 trees for every order placed.
2% of revenue supports local food access programs, school nutrition, and urban farming education.
